One month old!

Banks turned one month old yesterday! Feels like we've known him forever. We never knew how much pure love and joy we could have until the past month!

Thanks to my mom and Kimberly for the precious stickers to document his first year!

Week 3

We have continued to enjoy getting to know our baby boy. He slept 4-5 consecutive hours between feedings a couple of nights this week, which was great! This week, Banks had his first "real" outing (besides going to Patrick's office and doctor appointments. He went to Rollins' second Birthday party. He was a perfect angel, and slept the whole time so we got to enjoy watching Rollins play and open his gifts. He spent one day with Nannie while Mommy ran a couple of errands. He also got to meet his great-grandmother this week, which was really special.

Hospital Pictures

At the hospital, someone from a company came in and took pictures the day after Banks was born. We were a sucker and bought the disk of 8 pictures for way too much money. But these are some priceless moments of our baby boy at his tiniest... and worth every penny!

Morning Smiles

My favorite time of day with Banks is the morning time. He is so sweet in the mornings, regardless of how much or little sleep we have gotten the night before. He gives me lots of smiles in the mornings, and I've been able to snap a couple of good pics.

Date Night

Banks' pediatrician told me at his first appointment that it was critical for Patrick and I to go on a date when Banks was 2 weeks old. I guess he's seen many Mommys go stir crazy and fall apart. So, we listened and went on our first date on Friday night before Clemson played in the Orange Bowl. My momma came and babysat for us. We went to Outback and enjoyed a couple of hours to ourselves. Banks slept the whole time we were gone, so the first babysitting experience was a good one too!

Then, Patrick went to Andy's house in Greenville to watch the game and have an evening out while Banks and I had a sleepover with Yiayia. We pulled the Tigers through to a win over Ohio State. Banks loves his Tigers!

Time with Daddy

One of my favorite parts of entering into parenthood has been seeing Patrick become the most precious Daddy. He is so loving to our Banks and it gets me every time I see them together. I so look forward to watching their father-son relationship continue to grow and develop throughout life. These are some pictures I found on Patrick's phone from the first few days we were home (feel free to come fold the stack of laundry in the background 😄).

Photo Shoot

One thing you can never have enough of is pictures of your newborn baby. I feel like he changes every day second, and every moment is precious. A lady came and took pictures of him while he was a day old in the hospital, and Patrick and I got caught in the scam and spent the $130 on the disc to get the 8 pictures she took of him. So, we were very grateful to my friend from work, Crystal, when she offered to come take some more pictures of him. These pictures were taken on Tuesday, when he was 12 days old. He was super fussy during the whole thing, so we were limited on what we could get. Next time, I know to have him fed, burped, and changed right before the photographer arrives!
