On Easter Sunday, we went to church at Capstone, where we've been visiting. Then we went to Greenville to celebrate Greek Easter at Aunt Sophie's house. Everyone loved meeting and seeing Banks.
Patrick picked out his Easter outfit, which was given to us by the Dunns.

4 Months
Wow, how this precious baby has developed a personality. He is so vocal, with squeals, giggles, screams, and every vowel sound. He has certainly learned that noise=attention. He thrives on making eye contact with people, and smiles the biggest grin when someone looks at him, especially familiar faces. His hand, along with anything else he can reach, are constantly in his mouth. He still loves blankets, and will grab them and cover his face. He is just starting to find his feet, occasionally able to grasp one. He is still sleeping in the room with is as of right now. He slept in his crib upstairs for 4 consecutive nights (2 while I was in New Orleans) , but starting on the 5th night he would cry as soon as we'd lay him down.
He had a good 4 month check-up. He was in the 40th percentile for length and weight. He had grown 2.75 inches since his 2 month check-up, and weighed 14.15lbs.

Bath Time
Bath time is one of my favorite times with Banks. Patrick and I have done bath time together since day one. Regardless of what else we have going on, we both drop what we're doing to spend that time together with outlr sweet boy. Banks loves his bath time too, and makes some of the most priceless facial expressions while we're bathing him. We finally captured some on camera...
New Orleans
Sally's bachelorette party was in New Orleans April 11-13, which was Mommy's first time away from Banks overnight. Being with my best friends helped make it a little easier, along with knowing my baby was in good hands, with his Daddy and Nannie. We had lunch at the Commanders Palace on Friday, went to Bourbon St (yuck!) Friday night, shopped on Magazine St on Sat, and went to hear some live jazz music Sat night. We also stopped by Harrahs casino to play some slot machines on the way home Sat night. I lost $11. Although it was fun sight seeing in New Orleans, I was so glad to get home to my family!

Easter/3 Month Pictures
Banks had some Easter Pictures taken a couple of weeks ago, and we just got them in today! It was freezing cold and windy, but I think they turned out pretty good!

3 Months
Banks is 3 months old! Well, more than that now but I'm behind. At 3 months, he has almost full head control and is really responding to familiar faces/voices. He sleeps through the night, eats around 6:30am, and then sleeps for another 2-3 hours. Then he usually doesn't nap for the rest of the day until evening. He has found his hands and puts them in his mouth all the time. He has started reaching for things (faces, hands, mirrors, toys, lights, etc). The ladies at daycare say that he is one of the happiest babies, which I love to hear. He smiles, and even laughs, constantly! He especially smiles when he hears and/or sees his Mommy and Daddy. He has started inconsistently rolling over again, from tummy to back. He's not the biggest fan of tummy time, but will tolerate it with lots of distractions. He's more loved every single day we know him!
Playing Catch-Up, March-April
So, I've started back to work, which has really slowed down my blogging. I've decided that my precious time with Banks in the afternoons is better spent in the floor with him rather than behind my laptop/phone.
Banks has adjusted well to daycare, besides his initial bottle strike (he decided he no longer liked Avent the first week of daycare, so now we're on Medela bottles). He only has to stay for half a day since I'm blessed to only work part time. Also, my mom comes on Fridays to spend the day with him while I'm at work.
Patrick and I have managed to do some fun things on the weekends over the past month too!
Here we go....

Banks loves taking walks in spring weather:
He also loves his cousins, Uncle Shannon and Aunt Allison and got to spend some quality time with them while we were in Charleston for Kelsey and Stephen's wedding. We even got to spend some extra time with them when our car broke down due to contaminated gasoline:
Demi will get as close to him as we let her, even in the car:
