From the second he met Georgia in the hospital, Banks has immediately taken to Georgia and has been so precious. He came to meet her at the hospital on Thursday afternoon, around 4:30, after my parents picked him up from daycare, and then he was at home when we brought her home on Friday evening. He wanted to look at her constantly, and kept saying, "Aww, she sweet." He got scared the first few times she cried, but now every time she cries, he tells her, "It's Okay, I your big brodder." Every time he talks to her, he switches over into a sweet "baby talk" tone in his voice. He frequently tells us he wants her to play with him, sleep with him, etc. He has asked to hold her and "rock her" a couple of times on his own, and he randomly walks by and kisses her on the top of the head without prompting.
The sweetest thing though, was when we first got her home, we needed to change her diaper. Banks had seen where I had set up the pack n' play with the changing station (diapers, etc), the week before. Without us saying anything to Banks, he said, "I help you." He ran into the other room as fast as he could, and came back with wipes, a diaper, and cream. It was truly one of the most precious things I've ever seen.
He has started acting out just a little more than normal (refusing nap, refusing to sit in his high chair, telling us "no," etc), but for the most part, we couldn't have asked for a better adjustment on his part. He has such a sweet heart.
When yall pulled into the garage and opened the car door, I said Banks who is in there and he said "seester" and climbed up under Patrick to see into the carseat and said "I want to see her".
