We took Georgia to the doctor for a weight check last Monday, on 9/12. Georgia had gained a whole pound from the previous Monday (7lbs, 7oz). Once again, Dr.Maddox was very impressed!
Since Monday, however, Georgia has taken a turn with her sleeping and temperament. The first week we were home with her, she was doing a pretty good job of eating a sleeping. Now the spit up and tummy issues have kicked in, and she is sleeping very little (day or night). At times she is inconsolable and it's been pretty difficult at times, but we are trying to get it figured out. I must say that Patrick is the best husband and Daddy I could ever ask for, which makes it so much easier for me. Even though I am the one up at night doing feedings and diaper changes, Patrick is the best moral support I can ask for, and is always willing to get up with a good attitude to relieve me when I need a break. He took Banks to the Clemson game on Saturday. Banks had a blast, and it made Patrick so happy to watch him excited to cheer on his Tigers. It was such a big help to me that I knew my boys were having a fun day, so that I could stay home and take care of baby girl.
Regardless of how difficult and sleep deprived it may be right now, we sure do have a house full of love and I love every second of our life! And it's a good thing Georgia's so cute because it helps us tolerate her screaming...
